our most challenging cake to date! our dearest friends syaheedah and ihsan had the loveliest reception in janda baik, pahang but my oh my! due to the size of each cake especially the base (16'' in diameter), we had to assemble the cake on location. and the bumpy car ride reminded us we need to upgrade our car with super cool suspensions :) after all..cake transportation = handle with care!!

we got there in the morning, stacked the cake, arranged the orchids, and added bits here and there, and voila! alhamdullilah, we managed to put it all together with not so much drama!

thank you syaheedah & ihsan and auntie haizah for allowing us to use your photos by Daniel Zain. as you can see, our photo of mum and asma' cannot even compare to their photos..lol!!

bride's hantaran was all blue and we painted our orchids' shade of blue to match :) we also added some pearls to dress the cake up..
inside was our favourite moist yet light chocolate cake frosted with chocolate buttercream.

a last minute put together by asma and mum. chanel is the bday girl's true love hence the miniature bag and perfume! we used chocolate fondant, a definite treat, to cover our moist yet light chocolate cake layered with our chocolatey buttercream.

congratulations to the lovely couple tying the knot all the way from Canada here in Kuala Lumpur! pink roses are her favourite flowers and we added hints of gold here and there to match her champagne and gold dress. bottom cake was lemon cake with lemon buttercream with the rest being traditional vanilla.we were there to help cut and serve the cake and this cake was more than enough to serve the 80+ guests there. p/s: yes!!!we provide cake cutting services too!!
